| Welcome to EuroCSC |
| a Consortium funded by the European Commission to exploit Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) as targets for anti-tumor therapy. |
The EuroCSC Consortium consists of 6 partners. Five of these are European academic institutions and one a European biotech company. Seven Principal Investigators from these partner institutions participate in the project. |
The goal of their research is to identify the molecular mechanisms that allow CSCs to maintain and expand tumor, and to design drugs directed against these molecular targets that will prevent CSCs from carrying out this function.
